Responsible Gaming

Version: 1.0  |  Last Updated: August 19, 2026

At SpinBoss Casino, we believe that gambling should always be a source of entertainment — never a source of stress, financial difficulty, or harm. We are deeply committed to promoting a safe, transparent, and responsible gaming environment for all of our Canadian players. This Responsible Gaming page should be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

1. Our Commitment

SpinBoss Casino operates with a firm commitment to player welfare. We understand that while the vast majority of our players enjoy gambling responsibly, some individuals may develop problematic behaviour. Our commitment extends to:

  • Providing effective, easy-to-access player protection tools;
  • Preventing underage gambling through rigorous age verification;
  • Training our customer support team to identify and assist at-risk players;
  • Partnering with recognised Canadian problem gambling support organisations;
  • Promoting transparent, factual information about the nature and risks of gambling;
  • Ensuring that our marketing practices do not target vulnerable individuals.

We encourage you to set personal limits, take regular breaks, and to seek help if gambling is no longer a source of enjoyment. Our support team is available around the clock at [email protected].

2. Recognizing Problem Gambling

Problem gambling can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or experience. It often develops gradually and may not be immediately obvious. Ask yourself the following questions honestly:

  1. Do you spend more money on gambling than you originally intended?
  2. Have you ever borrowed money or sold possessions to fund your gambling?
  3. Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to cut down or stop gambling?
  4. Have you tried to win back money you have lost ("chasing losses")?
  5. Has your gambling caused conflict in your personal relationships, at work, or at home?
  6. Do you think about gambling frequently, even when you are not playing?
  7. Do you gamble to escape from stress, anxiety, depression, or other negative emotions?
  8. Have you lied to family members, friends, or colleagues about the extent of your gambling?
  9. Have you neglected personal responsibilities — such as work, family, or health — because of gambling?
  10. Have you considered, or do you engage in, illegal acts in order to finance gambling?

If you answered yes to two or more of the above questions, we strongly encourage you to consider using our player protection tools and to seek support from one of the organisations listed in Section 6 of this page. Recognising a potential problem is the first and most important step toward getting help.

3. Player Protection Tools

SpinBoss Casino provides a suite of practical tools designed to help you maintain control over your gambling activity. All tools can be activated through your Account settings or by contacting our support team at [email protected].

3.1. Deposit Limits

You may set a maximum deposit limit over a chosen time period:

  • Daily deposit limit – limits the total amount you can deposit within any 24-hour period;
  • Weekly deposit limit – limits the total amount you can deposit within any 7-day period;
  • Monthly deposit limit – limits the total amount you can deposit within any 30-day period.

Deposit limits take effect immediately when set. Any request to increase a deposit limit is subject to a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before taking effect.

3.2. Loss Limits

A loss limit restricts the maximum amount of Real-Money Funds you can lose within a defined time period (daily, weekly, or monthly). Once reached, no further real-money wagering will be permitted until the limit period resets.

3.3. Session Time Limits

You may set a maximum duration for each gaming session. Once your session limit is reached, you will receive a notification and be automatically logged out. You may also enable our Reality Check feature to receive periodic reminders of elapsed playing time during a session.

3.4. Wagering Limits

You may set a maximum total wager amount per day, week, or month, independent of your deposit limit. This helps ensure that your total gambling expenditure stays within your personal budget.

3.5. Cooling-Off Period

If you need a short break from gambling, you may request a cooling-off period of:

  • 24 hours;
  • 7 days;
  • 30 days;
  • Or any custom period up to 42 days.

During a cooling-off period, you will not be able to access the Casino Games section of your Account. The cooling-off period takes effect immediately and cannot be reversed once activated.

3.6. Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a more formal and long-term measure for players who believe they need to stop gambling for an extended period. You may request self-exclusion for the following durations:

  • 30 days
  • 3 months
  • 6 months
  • 1 year
  • 5 years
  • Permanently

During self-exclusion, your Account will be suspended and you will be removed from all marketing communication lists. We will make every reasonable effort to prevent you from re-opening your Account during the self-exclusion period. To apply for self-exclusion, please contact us at [email protected]. To lift a temporary self-exclusion after the minimum period has expired, you must contact us directly and allow a mandatory 7-day reconsideration period.

4. Tips for Responsible Gambling

Responsible gambling means making informed choices and staying in control. Consider the following practical guidelines:

  • Set a budget before you start and stick to it — never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose;
  • Set a time limit for each session and commit to stopping when it is reached;
  • Treat gambling as entertainment, not a strategy to make money or recover financial losses;
  • Never chase your losses — accept that losses are part of the game and walk away when your budget is spent;
  • Balance gambling with other activities — maintain a healthy variety of hobbies and social activities;
  • Do not gamble under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or extreme emotional stress;
  • Take regular breaks during gaming sessions to keep your perspective clear;
  • Use our player protection tools proactively, not only when you feel you have a problem;
  • Talk to someone if gambling stops being fun — whether a trusted friend, family member, or professional counsellor.

5. Protection of Minors

SpinBoss Casino maintains a zero-tolerance policy with respect to underage gambling. We employ rigorous age verification procedures at the point of registration and at multiple subsequent touchpoints, including during KYC verification and before processing withdrawals.

If you share your device with younger family members, we strongly recommend taking the following precautions:

  • Never allow minors to observe or participate in your gambling sessions;
  • Always log out of your SpinBoss Account when you are not actively using it;
  • Use device-level parental controls and content filtering software to restrict access to gambling websites;
  • Keep your Account username and password confidential at all times;
  • Consider using dedicated third-party parental control tools such as Gamban, Net Nanny, or Bark.

If you suspect that a minor has accessed a gambling account, please notify us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate promptly and take all necessary action.
